Pragma Consultancy is an educational consultancy based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, dedicated to helping students access international education opportunities through scholarship guidance, university admissions support, and mentorship.
2. Services Provided
We offer educational consultancy services including, but not limited to: scholarship guidance, university research and selection, application assistance, recommendation letter support, personal statement and CV review, interview preparation, one-to-one mentorship, and destination-specific application services.
Service scope, deliverables, timelines, and fees are agreed upon individually based on the package or service you select. Pricing displayed on our website is indicative and may be updated from time to time.
3. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Pragma Consultancy provides guidance, information, and application support. We do not guarantee scholarship awards, university admission, visa approval, or any other outcome from third-party institutions or government bodies.
Final decisions regarding admissions, scholarships, and visas rest solely with universities, scholarship providers, embassies, and relevant authorities. You acknowledge that success depends on many factors beyond our control, including your academic profile, eligibility, and the competitiveness of each opportunity.
4. Client Responsibilities
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and truthful information in consultation forms, applications, and all communications with us. You are solely responsible for the accuracy of documents and information submitted to universities or scholarship bodies.
You must respond promptly to requests for information, documents, or feedback. Delays on your part may affect timelines and the quality of support we can provide.
You agree to use our guidance ethically and in compliance with the rules and policies of all institutions and programs you apply to.
5. Fees and Payment
Fees for services are communicated before engagement and must be paid according to the agreed schedule. Unless otherwise stated, fees are quoted in Ethiopian Birr (ETB).
Payments are generally non-refundable once work has commenced, except where required by applicable law or explicitly agreed in writing. For multi-stage services (such as full application packages), payment milestones will be outlined at the time of agreement.
Failure to complete payment may result in suspension or termination of services.
6. Confidentiality
We treat your personal information, academic records, and application materials as confidential and use them only to deliver our services. We will not share your information with third parties except as needed to provide agreed services, with your consent, or as required by law.
7. Intellectual Property
Materials, templates, guides, and resources provided by Pragma Consultancy remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed. You may use them for your personal application purposes but may not reproduce, distribute, or resell them without our written permission.
Documents you provide to us remain your property. You grant us a limited license to use them solely for delivering the services you have requested.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Pragma Consultancy shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services, including but not limited to missed deadlines, rejected applications, or financial losses.
Our total liability for any claim related to our services shall not exceed the amount you paid us for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
9. Cancellation and Termination
Either party may terminate an engagement by providing written notice. If you cancel before work begins, a refund may be issued minus any administrative costs. If work has already started, fees for completed work are non-refundable.
We reserve the right to terminate services if you provide false information, engage in misconduct, or fail to meet your obligations under these Terms.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The revised version will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
